I fell in love with birth and the birth process when I was pregnant with my first child in 2007. It was during this pregnancy that I felt a great desire to provide childbirth classes to the many mothers who simply could not afford them. It wasn't until March 2009 that I was able to get certified as a childbirth educator and began teaching in July 2009. Shortly after becoming a childbirth educator I saw a great need for doulas to come alongside and support these moms while in labor and it was in February 2011 that I began my doula training. Shortly after the birth of my second child I became a certified doula through DONA International (Sept 2012). As I said before I have two children (December 2007, May 2012) and an absolutely incredible husband of 8 years. Without my husband's support I would never be able to do what I do and provide childbirth services to so many women. It is because of the vision God has given me that I am passionate about seeing women through this incredible time in their lives.
